The creator of Addams Family TV series didn't like Addams Family's Theme when I composed it. He had requested a theme for the series and wasn't satisfied with it until when, I can't recall if it was; Sidney or Walcyr Carrasco added the lower tone voice speaking over the singing to help my case.
The series is way younger than its recording quality makes it look; late seventies or early eighties, as it is the case with many TV series and films I've been involved with. I was a child by then and ended up exiled from Addams Family after I created the Thing character because, I guess, they wanted to include dirty jokes about it.
I protested but Walcyr forbade me of creating a problem about it and I ended up thus creating The Munsters with Yolanda Martins. I created and interpreted Lily Munster on the rehearsals, after my own nickname; Lily, as I had always wanted Morticia's tone to sound like, but was going to play her daughter on screen - I can't remember what happened then that prevented me from that - while Yolanda, which was an adult, played the daughter during the rehearsals.
I have created the Vampira character and played the first version of it on the rehearsals too, for presentig horror movies on TV.
And I am also responsible for the film hip hop version of Addams Family's Theme, performed by Mc Hammer and the screenplays for the three Addams Family's movies for the cinema.
